“Wow, thanks for replying! Thought I was pissing into the wind with that one. I've never once touched the multiplayer mode. I don't recall seeing the option for it. I mean, I'm sure it's there, but I don't remember it, which means I've never clicked on it. So, yes, single player campaign only. A decent amount of the original, and then about half a level of Brood War when I skipped forward one time. Wow, that sounds like a hella lotta workers. I vaguely recall trying that in a mission or two where I had severe resource problems, but then I didn't have enough offensive units and ran out of minerals by mining them too fast. Hmm... I remember getting frustration-curiosity a couple times and checking YouTube videos of how people beat missions I was completely stuck on, and being very unsatisfied because what I saw worked when I tried it myself but I didn't understand it (I can tell I didn't understand it because I don't remember it). I didn't know there's a speed setting. That could make missions less of a long-ass slog, although, uh, controlling every unit at once? That sounds like a massive amount of busywork and I'm not ”

“I had too much physics in my life so my brain is screaming " Is energy and angular momentum conserved here??? ". I'm not sure if I'm a typical user :) What I dislike about influence areas is that sometimes small changes in the direction or speed makes big changes in the trajectory. I understand it's more fun, but not knowing what they do and the cost is confusing. * In the weapon buying screen, it would be nice to have a visual representation of the explosion. (This looks like a very hard change. I'm not sure if you are going to add more features.) * In the weapon buying screen, I prefer that the list is not cyclic, i.e. if I click down it stops when the list ends instead of cycling to the more expensive weapons again.”

- Dota 2 · free to play with in-game purchases · complaints: Complex mechanics that can be overwhelming, Steep learning curve for new players, Inconsistent matchmaking quality

- Overwatch 2 · free to play with in-game purchases · complaints: Confusing character abilities and roles, Balance issues between characters, Toxicity in competitive play
There is a notable gap in the market for games that simplify complex mechanics and provide clearer tutorials or onboarding experiences for new players. While competitors like League of Legends and Dota 2 offer deep gameplay, they also present steep learning curves and confusing mechanics, which can deter new players. A game that balances depth with accessibility could attract a broader audience.
