What people are saying Observed

  • “Keep Projects Visible While Scrolling Through Chats. Please make the Projects section of the ChatGPT sidebar sticky, so it remains visible while scrolling through a long chat history. Currently, when moving older chats into Projects, the destination Projects are often far above the chats being moved. This makes drag-and-drop impractical. Keeping Projects visible would make organizing large chat histories much easier. 1 post - 1 participant Read full topic”

  • “Add “Hide Project chats in Recent”. The previous layout worked much better. The current layout feels cluttered and makes organizing my chats frustrating. After I move a chat into a Project, it still appears in Recent. This makes it difficult to distinguish conversations I’ve already organized from those that still need attention. More importantly, I’m unsure what I can safely delete when cleaning up Recent. I worry about accidentally deleting an important conversation that belongs to a Project. Please add a Settings toggle: “Hide Project chats in Recent.” When enabled, chats assigned to a Project should appear only within that Project, leaving Recent for unfiled conversations. I want to organize my chats once and trust that organization—not manage the same conversations in two places. 1 post - 1 participant Read full topic”
