Cursor IDE Describe the Bug Hi, I keep getting this banner in the Agents panel, even though I am already signed in: Authentication error If you are logged in, try logging out and back in. Request ID: 6aa3d6ce-fbf8-44b6-867b-97cd125393d6 Request ID: 26aaee82-18db-470e-84bf-6796527996d3 What happens It shows up about every 3 minutes during normal use, not only after the app has been idle overnight. The account still looks signed in. The current Agent turn then dies with: “Authentication error. If you are logged in, try logging out and back in.” It is not tied to one project. I have seen it across several workspaces on the same machine. This has been happening for several days. A screenshot from today (8 Oct 2026, UTC+8) is attached. The Request ID above is from that screenshot. Later occurrences may have different Request IDs. What I already tried I followed the steps an engineer posted on a similar thread: Cursor Settings → account → Sign Out Fully quit Cursor from the Windows system tray (not just closing the window) Open Cursor again and Sign In in the browser, then wait until it returns to ”
