“How to solve ChatGPT conversational memory issues. After using Chat GPT for some time now, I have noticed how it tends to forget what we were talking about, or it sets off on a long list of complicated tasks and the chat window times out, or looses connection or i run out or characters, which used to mean spending considerable time teaching a new agent what the old agent was doing. I am unaware if others have solved this issue, but here is the solution i developed that has been working for me very well. This is compatible with chat, with work, with all tiers of ChatGPT subscription, and easily traverses devices. If anyone has any suggestions how this could be improved I’d be happy to hear them. Then you come back later, and suddenly it feels like you are talking to a completely different AI. It may remember that the project exists. It may remember a few general facts. But important parts of the actual reasoning are gone. And that is a serious problem. I don’t need ChatGPT to simply remember: “The user has a project called TCDevHub.” I need it to understand: “This is the current state of TCDevHub. These decisions have already been made.
