What people are saying Observed

  • “I mean that's the problem though. I'm not paid to spend 2 years fine tuning a framework. I have things that need to get done, accurately and precisely. And to me, to my work, the models just suck without intense prompting. The harnesses are simultaneously too open and restrictive, and annoying. The terms are too overloaded. The models fight with me on highly domain specific knowledge that it's long since compressed or quantized away, until I fill the context with the documentation. It's all a nightmare to get up the learning curve. I'm not blaming you, but it's incredible how much open source garbage there is and people spend years making actually good stuff that actually works and nobody's publishing it. So to me, and I'm trying, but to me your point is hearsay at best. You may as well have told me it took 2 seconds and you've always had a perfect time with it. It's all meaningless to me.”

  • “Here’s an idea I would love to see play out. Have one of the labs train a new model, using cutting edge architecture, on a whole lot of data and math papers from before 1905. Then see if it can come up with, or even understand, Einsteins theory of relativity.”

  • “> Several hours of work with Fable simply convinced me it wasn't yet solvable and reinforced how hard of a problem it was. This is the part that gives me the strangest feeling about it all, because you're not the only one with this experience. I've experienced this too on different problems, as have many researchers across many fields. I disagree with the Fields Medalists on the majority of their complaints. AI math is happening and there's no going back. However, on one point I increasingly agree: virtually none of this stuff is possible with technology any normal citizen has access to. I have no problem with AI models making revolutionary advances in math or science. Where I start to have a problem is when the AI models making these advances are seemingly never actually released. This has been the case for all of 2026 so far.”

There is a significant gap in providing affordable and accessible advanced AI models specifically tailored for researchers who require robust solutions for complex problems. Current offerings from competitors often come with high costs, complex pricing structures, or limited access to the latest models, making it challenging for researchers to leverage advanced AI capabilities effectively.
