“Intelligent Chat History Organizing. sorry if this is redundant. And yeah I had chat write this for me. The idea: Give ChatGPT the ability to intelligently organize a user’s conversation history based on the content and relationships between conversations , not just chat titles or dates. As someone who has used ChatGPT extensively over a long period of time, my chat history has become enormous. I have dozens or hundreds of conversations that are actually parts of larger ongoing projects or recurring topics, but they’re scattered across separate chats. For example, I might have 20 different conversations about the same ongoing subject over several months. Some are continuations of each other, some contain overlapping information, and some are essentially duplicates. Today, I’m largely responsible for manually figuring out how to organize all of that. I’d love to be able to tell ChatGPT: “Organize my ChatGPT history.” ChatGPT could then analyze the conversations and propose an organization based on their actual content. What this could look like ChatGPT could say: I analyzed your conversation history and found 1,200 conversations. Here’s what I recommend: Entertainment / Media 73 rel”

“Feature Request: Native Smart Tags and Cross-Chat Semantic Search. ChatGPT already understands the subject, purpose, workflow, and status of a conversation well enough to summarize or title it. I’d like ChatGPT to automatically apply semantic tags to chats—such as topic, workflow type, project affinity, status, and related entities—so users can search and group conversations across Projects without manually filing every chat. Projects could remain intentional workspaces, while smart tags provide a cross-cutting discovery layer. This would reduce manual chat organization while making older conversations much easier to rediscover and reuse. 1 post - 1 participant Read full topic”
